PM, German chancellor to attend International Kite Festival In Ahmedabad on Jan 12

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German chancellor Friedrich Merz will attend the International Kite Festival at the Sabarmati riverfront on Jan 12. PM Modi is also expected to hold a meeting with Merz in Gandhinagar. The PM will be on a three-day visit to Gujarat from Jan 10. According to official sources, the PM will also travel by metro rail from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar and inaugurate the metro rail route from Sachivalaya to Mahatma Mandir. "PM Modi and German chancellor Friedrich Merz will visit the International Kite Festival at the Sabarmati riverfront on the morning of Jan 12. According to information available, the PM will then travel by metro rail from the Old High Court junction to Gandhinagar, where he will inaugurate the metro rail stretch from Sachivalaya to Gandhinagar," said a source.According to official sources, PM Modi and chancellor Merz are expected to meet in Gandhinagar, after which the PM will leave for Delhi.
