MSU to conduct surprise checks

vadodara: m s university has decided to carry out surprise check of identity cards. the step has been taken following a few incidents where goons entered the campus and disrupted normalcy. on monday, student leaders jignesh patel and rutvij joshi met pro vice chancellor v d pathak and asked him to conduct screening of students on campus. the students claimed, of late, the campus environment was vitiated due to presence of certain anti-social elements."if they check i-cards, such elements can be caught and punished," the students said in a press statement. the msu has accepted the demand and assured the leaders of frequent 'surprise' checks to apprehend anti-socials.
