Land scam accused booked under PASA

AHMEDABAD: Rohit Thakore, a land scam accused and resident of Bopal, was arrested on Wednesday and booked under PASA by the city police.
T h a ko re has been sent to the Porbander jail after being implicated under PASA for being a repeat offender.
Thakore, till a year ago, was known for organizing gala functions which Bollywood actresses and other dignitaries visited.But, in the last three months, he was accused in two complaints for land scams worth Rs 150 crore.
He remained absconding for some time before being arrested. Later, he got bail from Supreme Court. However, on Wednesday, he was arrested by inspector of prevention of crime branch (PCB) PK Jadeja and booked under PASA.
