Jitendra Singh to inaugurate IN-SPACe industry connect, IIT-Gn research facilities

Ahmedabad: Dr Jitendra Singh, union minister of state, department of space, along with senior Isro officials, will participate in the 10th edition of IN-SPACe industry connect in Ahmedabad on Thursday morning. According to organisers, the event will bring together stakeholders in the spacetech ecosystem along with emerging startups. Dr Singh will launch three initiatives — research clusters in advanced materials, energy, healthcare and medtech; Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF); and Centre of Excellence in AI and Innovation at IIT Gandhinagar (IIT-Gn) campus. “The visit marks an important milestone in IIT-Gn’s efforts to strengthen research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration in strategically important sectors such as advanced materials, energy, healthcare, and artificial intelligence,” said an official.
