Illegal industrial construction razed in Vatva area of Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad: The estate department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s South Zone on Friday successfully demolished 1,120 square feet of illegal industrial construction at Raghuveer Estate (Final Plot 27, TP Scheme 87) in the Vatva (North) Ward, following the expiration of an official advance notice served to the violators.
Simultaneously, extensive anti-encroachment drives conducted in the neighboring Lambha Ward led to the abrupt removal of 98 temporary and permanent commercial and residential sheds that were illegally occupying public space near the Baliya Dev Temple.
Furthermore, to effectively implement the corporation’s official town planning mandates, enforcement teams completely cleared 12-metre-wide roads near the Sardar Patel Ring Road under TP Scheme No. 128. During this coordinated field operation, civic authorities also cleared two public-purpose plots of all obstructions, thereby reclaiming valuable government land for future municipal development projects inside the expanding city limits.
