A team of five volunteers who are walking from Kanyakumari to New Delhi to cover a distance of more than 3,500 kilometers, in a move against corruption, will be passing through the city on March 11.

AHMEDABAD: A team of five volunteers who are walking from Kanyakumari to New Delhi to cover a distance of more than 3,500 kilometers, in a move against corruption, will be passing through the city on March 11. The volunteers are spreading the word against corruption and encouraging 'personal honesty' by engaging as many people as possible in the walk.

Student at MICA, Aditya Jain who is supporting the walk in the city said, "These are a group of five people who started the walk from Kanyakumari. They are spreading the message that the ultimate change in the country and a curb in the corruption could be brought only through personal honesty. People join them in between for short distances to encourage them and support them."
The supporters in Ahmedabad have arranged for a walk from Vijay Char Rasta to Sabarmati Ashram to join the initiative. The walk will be held from 6am to 8am. "We will be inviting people in the city to take out some time to join them in the walk and encourage them," said Jain.
