Stating that Gujarat has been at the forefront in the fight for justice, senior Congress member Pawan Khera said that the people of Gujarat will reject the “arrogance of the BJP” in the general election. Khera, who is the chairman of the party’s media and publicity department, was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
As the third phase of Lok Sabha election is underway, Khera spoke to reporters at the state party headquarters here. “Gujarat has been at the forefront in ensuring justice and the people here have rejected the arrogance of parties. Instead of giving a report card of its work, the BJP is dividing communities. But Gujarat has been at the forefront in the fi ght for justice and will reject the arrogance of the BJP,” he said.
Khera also questioned why Union govt was silent on admissions made by Astrazeneca that its Covid-19 vaccine could have side-effects. The vaccine was administered in India under the name Covishield. “Why are functionaries of Union govt silent on this?” he questioned.
