Gujarat ATS and city crime branch teams fired upon

AHMEDABAD: A team of Gujarat ATS and city crime branch were fired upon by a sharp shooter in a hotel room near Relief Cinema.
ATS officials said that they had information about a sharp shooter has been sent by Right Hand man of Dawood Ibrahim, Chota Shakeel to eliminate a person associated with Gujarat politics.
"We raised the hotel late on Tuesday night but before we could react , the man pulled out a gun from the back of his waist and fired upon police officers.Luckily no police official or policemen was hurt. We have held the person and further interrogation is going on" said a senior police official.
