GHCL project: Gujarat HC reserves order on public hearing

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat high court on Monday reserved its order on a PIL taking exception to a public hearing to be held at Bada village in Mandvi taluka of Kutch district in connection with a plant of Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd (GHCL).

The company and the pollution control authorities rescheduled the public hearing after it was postponed once.

The petitioner contended that after a public hearing is postponed, it can only be rescheduled after 45 days.
