GCI ‘B’ enter SPCT U-14 cricket final
Ahmedabad: Gujarat Cricket Institute (GCI) ‘B’ beat Savita Sports to enter the final of SPCT U-14 Cricket Tournament here on Thursday. Batting first after winning the toss, Savita Sports batters put up a poor show as the team was all out for 80 in 36.3 overs. Only Krish Patel (20) and Yuvrajsinh Sisodia (12) were able to offer some resistance. For GCI ‘B’, Arnav Desai took three for 19, while Pradhyuman Bhatti bagged two for 19.Savita bowlers put up a fight as GCI ‘B’ reached the target in 31.5 overs losing six wickets. Meetraj Sinh (22 not out) and Atharva Prajapati (12 not out) played under pressure to take their team home. For Savita, Het Patel and Yang Trivedi took two wickets each. Arnav was named man of the match.
