Complaint filed against land mafia

AHMEDABAD: A complaint was filed against a land mafia by a land owner for extorting Rs 50 lakh towards a land deal in Naroda. According to the complaint by Naroda-resident Mafaji Parmar, Krishna Mishra, a resident of Maninagar, JP and other persons had offered their help to clear a land dispute and had asked for half the revenue.
Even while the land deal worth Rs 1 crore could not be cleared, the group still claimed Rs 50 lakh from Parmar and also demanded more.Parmar has also stated in his complaint to Naroda police that Mishra’s goons time and again come to his residence and threaten him of dire consequences.
