AHMEDABAD: Investigators at the Ellisbridge police station nabbed one more youth in connection with a string of chain-snatching incidents. According to officials, Keyur Patel, 23, a resident of Indiranagar near Odhav, was nabbed on the basis of a tip-off received late on Saturday night.
According to officials, Keyur was an accomplice of Jigar Bijlani, 23, who was arrested by Ellisbridge police station officials earlier this month.

JB Gadhavi, inspector, the Ellisbridge police station, said that Keyur was involved in two cases, where he rode the bike and Jigar snatched the chain.
"We believe he is not a hardened criminal and was swayed by the urge to make quick money. However, his questioning is on," said Gadhavi. Earlier, Jigar had confessed to his involvement in five chain-snatching incidents and a number of vehicle thefts from eastern and western parts of the city.
During questioning he had mentioned the name of an accomplice who had helped him in the crime. One of his accomplices, Bhaumik, is already held under PASA, said investigators.
