Assembly pays tributes to deceased ex-MLAs

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Legislative Assembly paid tributes to deceased former members of the assembly and observed two minutes silence in their honour on the first day of the budget session of the assembly, which began on Monday. Tributes were paid to Mansukhbhai Chhaganlal Joshi, Mohammad Surti, Dhirajlal Ribadiya, Amarsinh Vasava, Vajubhai Dodia, and Bawanjibhai Metaliya during the condolence motion.CM Bhupendra Patel lauded the efforts of the deceased former members in addressing public issues and expressed his condolences. Other ministers and MLAs who participated in the condolence motion included speaker Shankar Chaudhary, Arjun Modhwadia, Tushar Chaudhary, Chaitar Vasava, and Gopal Italia.
