AHMEDABAD: A Maruti WagonR car rammed into a traffic circle opposite Judges Bungalow police chowky around 3.30 pm on Monday. The driver was later identified as Kalpana Shah, a resident of Satellite, who was traveling with a woman when the incident took place.
A tea vendor was also injured in the incident when the car hit his bicycle on the crossroads.

All three were later shifted to a private hospital in Vastrapur from where they were released late on Monday night.
According to Vastrapur police station officials who rushed on to the spot, Amit Makwana, 19, a tea vendor, was crossing the Judges Bungalow circle when a Maruti WagonR car came from the direction of Ramdevnagar Road and took a turn. However, as the cycle was in the middle, the driver took a sharp turn on left and rammed into the circle with the bicycle rider.
Emergency medical services ambulance rushed to the spot after three minutes and took injured out of the car. "Where Kalpana Shah was injured on lips and broke three of her teeth along with an injury on forehead, her fellow passenger had a bone fracture on her nose. Amit had bruises and cuts on his hand and legs. They were shifted to a private hospital in Vastrapur," said a 108 services official.
