Agra: Salman Ahmed, 27, of Mansoorpur area in Muzaffarnagar district “killed” his friend Mohammad Hassan, 26, four years ago and buried the body in his room. But the guilt haunted him all these years, and three days ago a wracked Salman spilled the beans to the deceased’s brother while attending a funeral in the village. Police said the man has been arrested after the body was exhumed. The deceased’s brother Saleem told TOI, “I had gone to attend a funeral procession in the village. Salman was also present. When we were taking part in the ‘janazah’, Salman suddenly asked me if I am still searching for my missing brother? When I said ‘yes’, he told me to stop searching as ‘he is not anymore’.”
