UP: Septuagenarian among two electrocuted in Etah’s village

AGRA: Two persons, including a man and his septuagenarian mother, were electrocuted in UP's Etah district.
The incident took place in Nagla Mangli village of Jaitra police jurisdiction on Tuesday morning. The victim was identified as Indraveer (46) and his mother Rambeti (76).
According to police, Indraveer was taking his cattle for grazing when one of the bovines separated from the herd and went toward electric pole, where the harness of cattle got stuck around the pole.

“When Indraveer went to release the cattle from electric pole, he came into contact of high power and was electrocuted. Seeing his son lying unconscious near electric pole, Rambeti went to rescue him, but she too was electrocuted,” said Jaitra police.
The body of the two victims were sent for autopsy.
