Two communities clash in Hathras over harassment of minor girl

A clash broke out between OBC and upper caste Thakur in Hathras on Wednesday following an incident of alleged harassment of a minor girl. According to police the girl from Kushwaha family informed her parents that an upper caste Thakur had been passing lucid comments at her.

AGRA: A clash broke out between OBC and upper caste Thakur in Hathras on Wednesday following an incident of alleged harassment of a minor girl.
According to police the girl from Kushwaha family informed her parents that an upper caste Thakur had been passing lucid comments at her. Enraged, the girl's mother allegedly abused the accused and his family leading to the clash between their respective families.

Seven people were injured during the incident and cases have been registered from both sides.
Talking to TOI, Senior Sub inspector, Ram Avtar Singh said when they reached the spot, they found both the parties beating each other with sticks. He said six people were taken to hospital for medical examination and FIRe have been registered.
Talking to media, the girl's family alleged that one Kripal Singh (30) had been troubling their minor girl and use to pass lucid comment at her. They said they had gone the boy's family to complain about his conduct but instead of listening to them, they attacked them.
Police said, a complaint has been filed against five people of Kripal Singh's family. Cases have also been registered against three members of Kushwaha family.
