AGRA: Demanding the arrest of the main accused in the assault against a senior doctor at Bah CHC on Tuesday, medical staff in CHCs and PHCs in Bah continued their strike on the second day.
Doctors boycotted work at CHCs and PHCs and also wore black badges while attending to emergency cases.
Chief medical superintendent of Bah CHC, Dr Dheerendra Kumar, said, " We want police to arrest the accused immediately. We will continue the strike till action is taken against the culprits." "As a mark of protest, the outpatient department was closed. At the district hospital, doctors and medical staff wore black bands while on duty."
However, services at the emergency ward and postmortem were not disrupted on Thursday.
