AMUTA condemns Sri Lanka bomb blasts

AGRA: The Aligarh Muslim University Teachers Association (AMUTA) has strongly condemned the recent string of bomb blasts that ripped through hotels and churches on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka. The blasts killed over 200 people and injured hundreds.
“Such heinous and barbaric acts claiming hundreds of innocent lives is beyond imagination,” secretary AMUTA Nazmul Islam.

The AMUTA members said, “We stand in solidarity with Sri Lanka. May they get the strength to overcome this hour of distress. We have always condemned acts of terrorism carried out by anyone irrespective of their religion and country.”
