3 dead in tin shed collapse in Mainpuri
Agra: A woman and her two minor children died after a tin shed and mud wall of a house collapsed in Aathpura village under Kurawali police station of Mainpuri district late on Tuesday night.The family of six was sleeping when the mishap happened. The victims include 45-year-old Ruby Devi and her two children -- Baby, 14, and Dilip Singh, 8. The woman's husband, Brijesh Singh Jatav, 50, and two daughters -- Pallavi, 10, and Gudiya, 12 -- suffered injuries and were admitted to hospital.Administrative officials and police reached the place to take stock of the situation and initiate an inquiry. Kurawali SDM Neeraj Dwivedi conducted a site inspection and stated that the relevant department is working to provide financial compensation to the family. Police said the bodies have been sent for postmortem, and further investigation is on.
