Tripura: 81% polling in election to Charilam seat

AGARTALA: The adjourned poll to Charilam (ST) constituency of Tripura was conducted peacefully on Monday with a turnout of over 81 per cent being registered.
Deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma is contesting from the seat and he is up against Arjun Debbarma from Congress, Umashankar Debbarma from Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura and independent candidate Jyotilal Debbarma.
