Agartala: CM Manik Saha said PM Narendra Modi has sanctioned an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives in the recent flood in the state. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved Rs 2 lakh for the families of those who lost their lives and Rs 50,000 for the injured in the recent floods. An interministerial central team is assessing the damage to secure additional assistance. The floods claimed at least 32 lives from August 19-24.
