2 more border haats coming up in Tripura

AGARTALA: Two more border haats along the Tripura-Bangladesh border at Kamalpur and Raghna are expected to come up very soon, as the governments of both countries have accorded sanction after finalisation of the sites, said Tripura labour minister Tinku Roy on Sunday.

He was addressing a gathering on the occasion of Independence Day of Bangladesh organised by the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh here. Roy said two existing border haats at Srinagar and Kamalasagar, which were closed due to Covid-19 since 2020, would also resume shortly. tnn
