WNS employees nurture curious minds
Over 300 WNS employees across eight cities volunteered in the ‘Focus on Science’ activity hosted by WNS Cares Foundation. They helped 4,000 children across 29 schools in creating projects around diverse science themes — ‘Best out of waste’, ‘Safeguarding the environment’ and ‘Digital world’.
Amit Bhardwaj, an employee at WNS, says the activity gave them a great opportunity to relook at creativity from the refreshing minds of children. “The children put a lot of effort into creating projects that showcase their grasp of scientific concepts, and it is extremely encouraging to see them do so well. We could be both teachers and learners at the same time,” he says.
Keshav Murugesh, group CEO of the business process management company, says the future belongs to curious minds. “Minds that are not afraid to ask questions, make mistakes and keep exploring. I am sure the ‘Focus on Science’ initiative will kindle greater curiosity, both in children and our employees,” he says.
