Zaggle partners with US-based Mesh to offer integrated global spend management for indian businesses
Mumbai: Zaggle, a spend management platform, formed a strategic partnership with Mesh Payments, a travel and expense software provider, to help businesses manage cross-border corporate spending. The tie-up aims to offer Indian multinational firms the ability to issue and manage global corporate cards, particularly in the US, Europe, and LATAM, through Mesh’s platform. At the same time, Mesh’s global clients with operations in India can use Zaggle’s suite of offerings, which include corporate credit, prepaid and forex cards, as well as travel services.
According to Deloitte, Indian firms among the top 100 spend over $2.2 billion annually on business travel. The two companies aim to target this segment by offering integrated solutions that reduce costs while improving employee experience. The collaboration is also intended to give finance teams better control and visibility over expenses across currencies and jurisdictions.
Raj P Narayanam, Founder and Executive Chairman of Zaggle, said the partnership will allow the firm to support customers looking to expand internationally by offering them an integrated corporate card solution. “As Indian companies scale, Zaggle is proud to be the enabler that ensures their growth is both efficient and well-governed,” he said.
Avinash Godkhindi, MD and CEO of Zaggle, said India’s digital economy is creating demand for smarter financial tools. The company hopes to help Mesh customers expand in India by navigating regulatory requirements and offering integrated spend services. “Together, we aim to redefine how businesses control and optimise their spending across borders,” he said.
Mesh Co-founder and CEO Oded Zehavi said the partnership will support the company’s global expansion. “India is a dynamic and rapidly growing business market,” he said, adding that the collaboration gives Zaggle customers access to Mesh’s tools to manage international operations with more agility.
Mesh’s platform combines corporate cards, expense automation, and travel booking on one system. It supports multiple currencies, is TMC-agnostic, and allows integration with a client’s preferred travel agencies. More than 2,000 companies, including Fortune 100 firms, use it to reduce compliance risk and automate expense reporting. The company said the service will remain free for existing and new customers until the end of 2023, with pricing to be announced later.
Founded in 2011, Zaggle serves over 3 million users and issued more than 50 million prepaid cards as of December 31, 2024. The company operates in sectors including banking, tech, healthcare, FMCG, and automobiles. Its partnership with Mesh is expected to support Zaggle’s push for international expansion and unlock new market opportunities.
In February 2025, Zaggle also signed a five-year partnership with Redington, Google’s distribution partner, to offer an employee benefits programme for corporate clients. The Smart Employee Purchase (EPP+) plan enables companies to manage device procurement and offers employees Google Pixel devices at reduced costs.
