Vinit Sambre
will be taking over as the head of
equities
and
Rohit Singhania
, senior vice-president, will become co-head, equities, with immediate effect.

Anup Maheshwari
, CIO (chief investment officer), equities, has decided to leave the firm to pursue other opportunities.
Anup has been with DSP BlackRock since July 1997 and managed domestic funds from May 2001 to June 30, 2012. Anup was CIO at HSBC Asset Management between December 2005 and May 2006 before returning to DSP BlackRock. Anup has previously worked for Chescor, a British fund management firm that managed three offshore funds investing in Indian equities.
Vinit has been a fund manager since June 2010 and currently manages the DSP BlackRock Small Cap Fund and DSP BlackRock Midcap Fund as co-fund manager. He joined DSP BlackRock in 2007 as a portfolio analyst and has over 20 years of experience in research and fund management.
Rohit has been with DSP BlackRock since 2005 and has over 18 years of experience in fund management and research. He manages DSP BlackRock India T.I.G.E.R. Fund (The Infrastructure Growth and Economic Reforms Fund), DSP BlackRock Equity Opportunities Fund and DSP BlackRock Tax Saver Fund. He is also the co-fund manager of DSP BlackRock Natural Resources and New Energy Fund.
