UPI transactions avg 73 cr daily in March
MUMBAI: UPI sustained its rapid expansion in March 2026, clocking 2,264 crore transactions, up 11.02% from 2039.4 crore in Feb, while the value rose 10% to Rs 29.53 lakh crore from Rs 26.84lakh crore. Daily trends showed the network handled 73 crore transactions a day in March compared with 72.8 crore in Feb. The average daily value stood at Rs 95,243.29 crore, slightly lower than Rs 95,865.33 crore in Feb, reflecting a marginal 0.6% dip even as the higher monthly value was spread over a longer 31-day period. For FY26, UPI processed around 24,160 crore with a total value of about Rs 308 lakh crore. This translates into a daily average of 66.2 crore transactions valued at Rs 84,383 crore.
