NEW DELHI: Leading two-wheeler manufacturers
Hero MotoCorp
and Honda Two Wheelers launched BS-VI-complaint Glamour and Shine respectively on consecutive days. Here's a look at how the two popular commuter motorcycles in their latest iteration fare on paper:

2. Engine and performance:Both the motorcycles employ 125-cc, single cylinder engines, which have now received the obvious BS-VI upgrade. Here are the revised output figures:

Apart from changes in numbers in output figures, both the motorcycles have gained ground clearance and wheelbase, and one-step rise in gearbox.
The mileage is another area of highlight for both Shine and Glamour. High-efficient already, the respective companies claim that their BS-VI engines will supply over 10% extra mileage against the outgoing BS-IV versions.
3. Styling:Both the commuter segment motorcycles remain mostly unchanged. The Glamour is available in sports red, techno blue, tornado grey and candy red colours while Shine gets black, grey metallic, red metallic and blue metallic to choose from.
