NEW DELHI: Honda two-wheelers on Thursday became the first motorcycle manufacturer in the country to launch BS-VI compliant scooter and motorcycle.

Honda launched the all-new 125-cc SP125, starting at Rs 72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in disc and drum variants, the SP125 will arrive the dealership network by the end of November, 2019.

The design language is aggressive, with sharp features on the body with a host of first-in-segment features.

The SP 125 gets a fully digital meter which keeps the rider updated with all the information on the go. The meter displays details like fuel efficiency, ECO indicator, gear position, service due indicator and other information like trip, clock, onboard diagnostic light.

Honda SP 125 gets a Bharat Stage VI compliant 125cc PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine, boosted by Enhanced Smart Power (eSP). The SP125 will deliver 16% more mileage over most 125-cc motorcycles, the company claims.

The SP 125 BS-VI comes fitted with HET Tyre (Low Rolling Resistance tyre). Developed with a new tyre compound technology, it reduces energy loss while maintaining optimum grip.

Earlier in June, Honda introduced the BS-VI engine equipped Activa, which starts at Rs 67,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
