Dineout celebrates Mother's Day with a video
There’s no particular skill set required to become a loving and caring mother. Yet, they somehow always know what to say and what to do to make us feel better. Sometimes it’s cooking our favourite food and other times it’s just listening to her voice that can make us forget about all our worries.
This Mother’s Day, when all of us are under lockdown, Dineout’s employees managed to create something so powerful and emotional that every person will relate to it. They created a video of their mothers saying their typical dialogues that we all have heard and still do, as a tribute to these group of tireless women in all of their lives. Things like “You’re always on your phone”, “Have home-cooked food”, “Don’t stay out till late”, “Have you eaten yet?”, etc. If you live with your family or away from home, you must have heard your mother say one of these things, or all of them, on several occasions.
Dineout captured these quintessential dialogues of mothers across the world in many regional languages like Marathi, Gujrati, Malayalam, Kannada, Kashmiri, Punjabi, Bengali, Hindi and English.
The video is inspired by real-life situations and the message behind it is simple - no matter how much your mother may critique you, scold you or ask you questions, it is only because she loves you unconditionally and wants the best for you.
The video ends with the message “Different words. Same Meaning. Their unconditional love. To the one who always put us first…"
