Ch Kiron elected chairman of ABC

NEW DELHI: Ch Kiron, managing director of Eenadu (Telegu daily) was unanimously elected as the chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) for the year 2008-09.
Kiron has been a member of the council of management since January 2000 and was the deputy chairman of ABC for the year 2007-08. Subroto Chattopadhyay, president & CEO of RPG Enterprises, an advertiser member of the council was unanimously elected as the deputy chairman of the Bureau.
Amit Mathew of Malayala Manorama was elected as the publishers' representative on the Bureau's council of management. Members of the ABC's council of management for the year 2008-09 are: Vijay Darda, Lokmat Newspapers Pvt Ltd, Ravi Dhariwal, Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd, T Venkattram Reddy, Deccan Chronicle, Shailesh Gupta, Jagran, Amitabh Datta, ABP, M Venkatesh, HT Media.
