app to manage their finances this Indian Premier League season.

Performing on the playing field has helped the likes of Parthiv Patel, Akshar Patel, Karun Nair and Manish Pandey command high prices in IPL auctions. But while they are busy helping their teams march towards victories, ET Money app has been helping their finances race towards rich dividends. Part of the 'Batting for Money' campaign, the stars of Indian cricket were apprehensive at first but have gradually acclimatised themselves on the twisty financial pitch. "My contract was renewed but the tension was about how to manage this money," admits Parthiv who was retained by Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.4 crore. "I used the ET Money app and invested in smart deposits. The returns are promising and more than what I got from savings deposits."





At 32, while Pathiv may be playing a steady and safe game, 23-year-old Akshar says he has been using the same app - and its simple interface - for overall performance. "My portfolio for top-performing funds is ready," says the Kings XI Punjab all-rounder. "There are several interesting options and it is reliable too."





A strong start is half the battle won and top-order batsman Karun Nair knows this holds true in the financial arena too. The 25-year-old was snapped up by Delhi Daredevils for Rs 4 crore and has since been using the ET Money app to perform off the pitch. "I have been hooked to the app since Parthiv mentioned it. Tracking finances is simple. I am playing the investments' power-play," he says. Kolkata Knight Riders' Manish Pandey agrees and says ability to track finances and create portfolios are great features on the ET Money app. "My portfolio is the best, I am sure of it," he says about his financial plans.





Apart from these established names, there are several other IPL fresh faces who have also chosen to make a strong start to their financial journeys. These include Kolkata Knight Riders'wicket-keeper Sheldon Jackson and
