Did you miss the city?</span><br /><br />I missed Mumbai.

It''s a vibrant, pulsating and productive city. I missed the action. Every phone call here was associated with some challenge. It was a mental and physical challenge because you have to work for 18 hours a day. I also missed the police force which has a positive and strong image. The response of officers and men was fantastic which is not to be seen outside the city.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Is an outposting boring compared to Mumbai?</span><br /><br />It can be less challenging and less tiring for someone who is used to handling a lot at one time. It would seem boring for such a person.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Is it true that most cops want to come back to Mumbai while posted outside?</span><br /><br />It may be true. But I wanted to be away from Mumbai to recharge my energy. I was away from the city police often earlier.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Did you miss Mumbai''s social circuit?</span><br /><br />I missed the action of the city. I was not really a part of the party circuit. While being in Mumbai there was no time for partying as my tenure here was most action-packed.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Many criminals take refuge in Thane after they escape from the city. What is your plan of action for them?</span><br /><br />I need time to study the crime pattern in Thane. But if criminals are hiding here or are active here, they will be flushed out.
