Shweta Tripathi finishes Bhopal schedule of Palkon Pe

Actor Shweta Tripathi has begun 2026 on a strong note with the completion of her first project of the year, the upcoming social drama Palkon Pe. The film recently wrapped its shoot in Bhopal after going on floors in December 2025 and being filmed across multiple locations in and around the city under a tight and demanding schedule.
Palkon Pe stars Shweta Tripathi alongside Abhishek Chauhan and Eshan Naqvi. Written and directed by acclaimed ad filmmaker Niddhish Puuzhakkal, the film marks his foray into feature-length social drama. Known for his nuanced visual storytelling, Niddhish explores layered themes such as gender equality, mental health, sexuality and divorce through an intimate, human-centric narrative. Shweta plays Shraddha Agarwal, a character central to the film’s emotional core.

Sharing her experience, Shweta said the gruelling Bhopal schedule fostered a deep sense of camaraderie among the team. She added that the film’s courage to address uncomfortable social questions and Niddhish’s psychologically sensitive approach to direction allowed her to explore the character with honesty and depth.
