Sanjay Mishra headlines dark comedy Arjun Bewakoof
Sanjay Mishra is set to lead the upcoming neo-noir dark comedy Arjun Bewakoof, directed by Smita Singh. Mishra, will be seen playing an eccentric, revenge-driven character, adding a dark and unpredictable layer to the film’s narrative. Sharing his excitement, the actor said he was drawn to the role’s unique energy and layered personality. He also highlighted his strong bond with Singh, revealing that their long-standing trust and comfort made the collaboration special.
Opening up about his character, Mishra shared, “I play an atrangi character who enjoys revenge. It’s layered, unexpected and has a very different energy to it — something I’ve truly enjoyed exploring as an actor.”
The film, which went on floors in mid-March, also stars Malvi Malhotra, Jigisha Joshi, Shikhar Mishra, Rajesh Tailang, Dolly Singh and Satendra Yadav in pivotal roles.
