Bollywood actress Aarti Chhabria, who has been a part of reality shows, is set to make her fiction debut with horror series 'Darr...Sabko Lagta Hai'. Recently, the BCCC (Broadcasting Content Complaints Council) sent an advisory to channels recently to be cautious with shows depicting occult, superstitions, black magic, exorcism and witchcraft, especially in the portrayal of women in a negative manner on air. Ask Aarti about that and she says, “I think horror as a genre is extremely entertaining. Everyone is glued to watching horror shows and films. People are curious about the paranormal world and I don’t think this should come under the scanner. Even small children love hearing ghost stories.”

Sony TV's 'Crime Patrol' is making a huge impact on the viewers through its hard-hitting stories. And to make the episodes more special now, Bollywood's hottie Ranveer Singh will be seen hosting a few episodes. Ranveer is all set to feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next 'Bajirao Mastani' as the fearless warrior. He will be seen hosting two episodes of the show to promote his movie. It will be a heroic super week, wherein stories of heroes will be aired. The actor shot for the sequence on November 30.

Zee TV recently announced the second season of 'India’s Best Dramebaaz'. The upcoming season will be hosted by television hunks Ravi Dubey and Rithvik Dhanjani. There is already news about Bollywood diva Sonali Bendre and actor Vivek Oberoi returning as the judges. The two actors will be accompanied by the famous filmmaker Sajid Khan as the third judge. Sajid confirmed being part of the project on Twitter, stating "Judging India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee..looking fwd to a fun shoot starting today..will post pics 4 u.." The series has already started with the audition rounds, and will be on-air soon.

Sonu Sood, an actor with a chiseled body and loads of talent is getting ready for his small screen debut. Earlier Sonu has appeared in many television shows to promote his movies. This is the first time, the handsome hunk will be sitting on a judge's hot seat. As per the sources, Sonu is making his debut with a comedy reality show as a judge.
When asked, Sonu says, "Television connects people from different aspect of life on a common platform. This attracted me towards this medium. I have never performed on television before and this is a completely new chapter for me. Through hosting or judging a show, viewers can see different side of my personality which they don't otherwise get to see in movies."

Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha showed her bubbly and childish avatar as she made her television debut in a music reality show. Sonakshi, who has joined musicians Salim Merchant and Vishal Dadlani on the judging panel of the second season of ‘Indian Idol Junior,’ took to Twitter to express her excitement.
"Thanks 4 the amazing response on the #IndianIdolJrTrailer guys! so kicked that u'll r SO excited about it! Now i'm even MORE charged up."
In a statement, Sonakshi admitted that while she is not keen on Bollywood playback singing as her contemporaries, she would love to do a musical concert someday!

As part of a reshuffle of the judges panel, Bollywood’s one of the best dancers, Shahid Kapoor will replace actress Madhuri Dixit and join choreographer Ganesh Hegde on the panel of the ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8.’
Shahid, who is preparing for his marriage next month with Delhi girl Mira Rajput, believes that it is time for him to return to the true love of his life – dance!
“When I first took up dancing, I had the privilege to work closely with some great mentors to not only honed my dance skills, but also helped me to shape my personality. As I join the ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ family as its judge, I am looking forward to share my learnings and experience with the contestants. Being a dancer brought discipline to my life and changed it completely; I’m now hoping to transfer some of the knowledge towards shaping the young and talented choreographers in our country,” said Shahid in a statement.

Bollywood actress and dancer Lauren Gottlieb will be returning to her homeground 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,' but this time, as a judge. She will be adding the glam quotient to the all-male judging panel, comprising Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde, in Season 8 of Colors’ show.
As a contestant, Lauren was the highest scorer and the runner-up of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’ with choreographer and partner Punit Pathak. In 2014, she participated in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7’ with Salman Yusuff Khan as a ‘Challenge Setter’.

The child actor who rose to fame with his debut film ‘Taare Zameen Par' (2007) now might be roped in by the television for a mythological show on Sony TV. As per some online reports, Darsheel is in talks with the production house of ‘Suryaputra Karn’ for the role of Arjun. Darsheel made his television debut with the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5’ in 2012, which garnered him a lot of appreciation. Back then, he had expressed interest in working in TV serials.

"As an actor, I feel I should not limit myself. I take up whatever excites me, be it from any medium," says Shreyas about his return to TV.
