Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her television debut with a kids' music reality show Indian Idol Junior. Other judges on the panel include Salim Merchant and Vishal Dadlani. Asha Negi and Hussain Kuwajerwala will play hosts this season. Sonakshi tweeted her excitement, "OMG!! Have some grrrrreat news for you’ll... Wait for it #juniorontheway” [sic]

While Sonakshi kept her followers guessing about who the 'junior' was, a hashtag #SonakshiAndJunior started trending on Twitter. She later clarified in her tweet, “Enough guessing!! HAPPY to announce #ShotgunJunior is going to be a part of Indian Idol Junior” [sic]

Popular rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh set the small screen on fire as he made his debut as a judge on a music reality show, India's Raw Star. The musician shot to fame with his singing, but in the show he mentored and judged other aspiring singers. Riding high on the success of his rap songs, it was encouraging to see Honey selecting the best choices.

Tanishaa Mukerji shot to fame with her stint on reality show Bigg Boss 7. Post her Bollywood career, she tried her luck on the small screen. Tanishaa was seen as a judge on a comedy show called Gangs of Hasseepur and she shared the panel with Mandira Bedi as the other judge. According to a report, the production house was not very happy with Tanishaa as a judge.

Sohail Khan appeared as a judge on a comedy show Comedy Circus. He maintained the comedy factor on the show. The participants even targeted their jokes towards the actor-filmmaker, but he took it all sportingly.

Chunky Pandey has made several appearances on the small screen as a judge. The actor, who has done several humorous roles in Bollywood, was a judge on the dance reality show, Zara Nachke Dikha. He was known more for his comic roles than his dancing skills. Later, he judged the contestants of Laugh India Laugh.

Arjun Rampal too judged a season of dance reality show, Nach Baliye. This show was Arjun Rampal's television debut. Nach Baliye is a reality show featuring celebrity couples, and Arjun shared the panel with Farah Khan and Karisma Kapoor.
