Before her tryst with Dhee
The makers of Dhee 4 noticed one of Sai Pallavi’s earlier performances. Impressed by her dancing talent and expressive face, the makers roped her for Dhee show.
The first sight of the sensation
Sai Pallavi grabbed eyeballs with the promo video of Dhee Jodi, a dance show for couples. The promo was exclusively shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Quite opposite to her onscreen persona...
“She was a very timid and reserved girl. But the moment the camera is switched on, she transforms into a completely different personality. A powerhouse performer with an exceptionally expressive face,” reckons Sanjeev K Kumar, the director of Dhee TV series.
Objections from Family..
Besides the celebrity judges and the host, Sai Pallavi was apparently the most sought-after participant in the show. Sai Pallavi’s mother had serious objections about her participation in the show as she was worried that her studies would be disturbed. It required a lot of persuasion behind her participation, as per close sources.

From Coimbatore to Chennai
Hailing from Coimbatore, Sai Pallavi’s shot for the show predominantly in AVM Studios, Chennai. Her mother used to accompany her in majority of the shoots.

She was known for her exceptional performances on the show, viz. Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (Varsham), Vintunnava (Yem Maaya Chesave), Kuchi Kuchi Kunamma (Bombay), Bhu Bhu Bhujangam (Arundhati) – a few to mention.
