Bigg Boss 8: Salman Khan slams Puneet Issar, Upen Patel

Salman Khan took us to the era of Hum Aapke Hain Koun ! and Maine Pyar Kiya with his romantic performance in the Weekend Ka Waar episode of Bigg Boss 8. His cute dance moves made us remember the Dabangg Khan's romantic avatar. After the heart stealing performance, Salman again decided to teach few lessons to the inmates. The weekend epsiode again brought in a lot of masala and fireworks. Before entering the house through v-TV, Salman informed the audience that it was time for some Swachhta Abhiyaan inside the house too.

Puneet Issar, who had been kept in jail for his aggressive behaviour towards Aarya was not present in the living area during the weekend ka waar session. Salman Khan clearly said that he did not approve of Puneet Issar's return into the house. He also clearly said that the same thing had happened in the previous season too and he did not approve of it even then. Salman then asked Diandra to bring in Puneet Issar into the living room. Aarya Babbar was asked to explain his stand. Aarya clearly stated that he did not like it when Puneet was brought into the house again. Salman Khan asked Puneet Issar to explain his stand. To this Puneet Issar said that he was at fault for using a martial arts move, but he did not intend to harm anybody. But Salman refused to believe Puneet's take. He also asked Puneet Issar about the accident that happened on the sets of Coolie, starring Amitabh Bachchan. Salman told Puneet to be careful as such behaviour would not be tolerated.

After Puneet Issar it was time for some other housemates to be grilled by Salman. Salman spoke about how the wild card entry, Ali Quli Mirza is playing the best game inside the house but has no power to take a stand. After this Salman turned to Upen Patel and asked him the reason behind nominating Puneet Issar for the eviction even though he was the one who made Upen be the captain of the house. Upen said the sole reason for him to nominate Puneet was the fact that he had cheated his own group and helped him be the captain. Salman said that if Upen was so aware of the right and wrong and if he was aware that it was not a real game and he had been made captain by cheating in the task, why did not he refuse to take captain-ship.

Salman then asked Sonali the reason behind her being nominated. Sonali said, Upen thought she was sleeping even after the alarm clock went off and thus nominated her. She further added that he could have nominated Diandra or Sushant as they used to talk in English a lot. Praneet too had been nominated by Upen. On being asked the reason, Praneet said that he and Upen had got into a fight and thus Upen had nominated his name. He further added that being the captain of the house, he should ensure that rules are being followed equally, which he did not. He never stopped anyone from talking in English and never nominated any of those who used to continuously converse in English.

After all this high voltage drama, Salman did not seem to be in a mood to stop. He welcomed the two wild card entries - Renee Dhyani and Dimpy. He asked ex Roadie, Renee to spill the beans on the equations inside the house. Renee, played the diplomacy card and revealed that Ali has been playing the best game so far in a subtle way. On being asked if Upen was partial during his tenure as the captain, she said 'yes'. When the same question was put in front of Dimpy, without mincing her words, she agreed that Upen indeed was partial and should not have nominated those who helped him win the task.

Next in line was the beautiful Karishma Tanna. Salman asked Karishma if she genuinely feels that make-up is way more important that saving someone. He further said, "Karishma pichli baar humein laga tha ke aapne Gautam ko hero banaya, par is baar laga ke Gautam to wakai mein hero hi hai." With this, Salman declared Gautam Gulati safe for the week. He further asked Gautam to thank Karishma Tanna. He further showed a video clip, which showed housemates talking about Karishma Tanna's fight over her make-up kit.

Majority of the housemates nominated Sushant for the danger aasan. Salman asked everyone who feels Diandra is a good captain. Puneet Issar did not agree. Salman asked him give reasons for this. Puneet Issar revealed a series of issues the first one being her continuous conversations in English. Puneet said that Diandra also runs away from work, is partial and makes excuses to run away from work. Salman Khan further added that Diandra failed to be a good captain.

Caller of the week, Poonam from Delhi, had a question for Aarya Babbar. She had bought sunglasses for Aarya Babbar. Poonam said Aarya is a wonderful actor and these sunglasses would add to his look. She pointed out how during the second day of the house building task, Aarya had refused to participate in the task. And in the second half of the task joined again with full excitement. In his defence, Aarya said that when he saw Ali getting tired then he thought of joining the task. Salman too supported Aarya Babbar.
