, made its first successful flight on Thursday.The aircraft’s maiden flight lasted for around 30 minutes before landing back in
Moses Lake, Washington
.The all-electric aircraft is powered by a
MagniX motor
. The aircraft can carry nine passengers, but only a test pilot undertook the inaugural flight, cruising at a speed of 183 kmph.The engine maker, MagniX, hopes the

160 km range in a 9 passenger all electric aircraft with current battery technology is impressive and a great evolution in the segment! If they could build in solar panels on the surface of the wings as a powe back up it may go a long way in making operators more secure in case of battery drain or failure.Read allPost comment
