Mercedes-Benz CLA Urban Sport launched at Rs 35.99 lakh

NEW DELHI: India's leading luxury-car maker Mercedes-Benz has launched new Urban Sport variants in its CLA line-up. The new CLA 200 Urban Sport (petrol) has been priced at Rs 35.99 lakh and the CLA 200 d Urban Sport (diesel) comes with a price tag of Rs 36.99 lakh (both ex-showroom).
With a sportier styling and added new features, as compared to a standard Mercedes-Benz CLA, the Urban Sport variants have been introduced to attract young customers.
The CLA Urban Sport comes with a new 'Cosmos Black' exterior paint, carbon-style rear spoiler and a 'Sport' badge. Inside, the version has 'Sport' floor mats and illuminated door sills.a
Alongside the cosmetic changes, the new variants offer Thermotronic two-zone automatic climate control with individual climate comfort for driver and front passenger. Rear centre vents have been provided for improved climate comfort in the rear.

"The new CLA Urban Sport offers enhanced luxury and comfort and add a sporty appeal that is hard to miss."
There is no mechanical change in the model. The CLA 200 Urban Sport comes with the 184PS, 2.0-litre petrol engine which makes it capable of doing a 0-100kmph sprint in just 7.1 seconds and claiming a top speed of 240kmph. The CLA 220 d Urban Sport takes 9 seconds for a 0-100kmph sprint with a 136PS, 2.1-litre diesel engine and claims a top speed of 220kmph.
