TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh launched: Price, range, features & more
TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric scooter line-up with the launch of the TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh. The new variant comes with a larger battery pack and replaces the earlier 3.5 kWh version. It is priced at Rs 1,37,142, ex-showroom. Here’s everything that you need to know.
The biggest update is the new 4.7 kWh battery pack. This setup delivers a peak power output of 5.9 hp and 33 Nm of torque. According to the company, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in up to four hours using a portable charger.
In terms of performance, the iQube S 4.7 kWh claims an IDC-certified range of 175 km on a single charge. It has a top speed of 82 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.3 seconds.
The scooter continues with the connected features seen on higher variants. It gets a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation support, ride statistics and alerts. It also comes equipped with features like reverse mode, crash alert, fall alert and anti-theft alert.
On the hardware side, the scooter has a kerb weight of 128.8 kg. The iQube S rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with 90/90-12 tubeless tyres at both ends. Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum setup. Along with the battery upgrade, TVS has also introduced new colour options. Buyers can now choose from Magnificence Purple Beige, Harlequin Blue Beige and Titanium Grey Matte.
