Royal Enfield Flying Flea spotted undisguised: Key details of first RE EV
The first electric motorcycle from Royal Enfield has been spotted testing in India without camouflage. The new Flying Flea C6 appears close to its final production form, suggesting that the launch could take place around April 2026. The upcoming model will be the first product under its Flying Flea EV sub-brand.
The Flying Flea C6 carries a design that is very different from typical electric motorcycles. The styling takes inspiration from classic machines developed during the Second World War. The bike features a low-slung bobber-style stance with a raked-out front end. One of the standout elements is the girder-style front suspension. The motorcycle also gets a forged aluminium frame and round LED headlamp, tail lamp and indicators.
The electric motorcycle will feature a circular TFT instrument display that shows information such as speed, trip data, battery level and range. It supports Bluetooth connectivity with navigation and connected features. The Flying Flea C6 will also be the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to offer advanced electronic aids such as traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control and five ride modes.
The bike uses a forged aluminium chassis along with a magnesium battery casing, which is designed to improve cooling and reduce weight. Royal Enfield has not yet shared official specifications of the battery pack or electric motor.
The Flying Flea C6 rides on narrow tyres mounted on 10-spoke alloy wheels at both ends. The bike uses a mid-mounted electric motor and gets disc brakes on both wheels. As for the spotted test model, it features a single-seat layout, although a pillion seat could be offered as an option or in another variant.
Royal Enfield has already confirmed that the Flying Flea C6 will be followed by another electric model, the Flying Flea S6, which will have a scrambler-style design. More details about the Flying Flea C6, including battery specifications and pricing, are expected closer to its official launch.
