Ola Roadster X e-bike gets iPhone-like price tag: Range, offers explained
Electric two-wheeler maker Ola Electric has announced a sharp price revision for its electric motorcycle lineup as part of its festive Holi Mahotsav campaign. The entry price of the Ola Roadster X now starts at Rs 79,999, ex-showroom, bringing the cost of an electric motorcycle closer to that of a premium smartphone and placing it on par with several entry-level petrol bikes in India.
The revised pricing applies to the entire Roadster range. The Roadster X is available with three battery pack options. The 2.5 kWh variant is priced at Rs 79,999, while the 3.5 kWh version costs Rs 92,999. The 4.5 kWh variant is priced at Rs 99,999.
The 4.5 kWh version is priced at Rs 1.09 lakh and delivers a claimed range of 252 km, while the range-topping 9.1 kWh variant costs Rs 1.89 lakh and offers a claimed range of up to 501 km on a single charge.
Along with the price cut, Ola Electric has also rolled out a limited-period festive campaign called Muhurat Mahotsav. Under this initiative, select units will be offered at special prices during 90-minute “shubh muhurat” windows, where buyers can access additional deals revealed during the live sale window.
The company has also introduced extra benefits for members of its Ola Insiders community. During the Muhurat window, insiders can receive additional benefits worth Rs 5,000 on top of other offers. Separately, the company is also offering an 8-year extended warranty on select scooter models including the Ola S1 Pro (3 kWh and 4 kWh) and Ola S1 Pro+ (4 kWh) for a limited period.
