Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition returns! Check booking details & more
Mahindra BE 6 in its special Batman Edition is making a comeback in India. The limited-run model sold out almost instantly when launched a few months back. Mahindra & Mahindra has confirmed that it will open bookings again for the electric SUV for a single day on March 10, 2026, following strong customer demand. Deliveries for the new batch are scheduled to begin from April 10, 2026.
The special edition was originally launched in August 2025 at a starting price of Rs 27.79 lakh, ex-showroom. It was introduced through a collaboration between Mahindra and Warner Bros.’s DC Comics. Initially limited to 300 units, the production run was later expanded to 999 units. Despite the increase, the entire lot was snapped up in just 135 seconds.
In terms of styling, the BE 6 Batman Edition draws inspiration from The Dark Knight Trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan. The exterior features a distinctive satin black paint scheme paired with Batman-themed decals and gloss-black cladding. Gold-painted suspension springs and brake calipers add contrast, while multiple Bat emblems are placed across the bodywork.
The Batman theme continues inside the cabin as well. The interior carries a dark colour scheme with gold stitching and Batman logos throughout. It also features a numbered plaque on the dashboard. The instrument cluster and start-up sound have also been customised to reflect the Dark Knight theme. Even the panoramic sunroof gets a large Batman logo. The instrument panel is wrapped in charcoal leather and features a brushed gold halo around the driver’s area. The seats, finished in suede and leather, carry golden accents and the Dark Knight Trilogy emblem.
Mechanically, the special edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant of the BE 6. It comes with a 79 kWh battery pack, which delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 682 km on a single charge. The electric motor is mounted on the rear axle and produces 286 hp along with 380 Nm of peak torque.
