Five electric scooters in India with more than 125 km range: Simple One to Ola S1 Pro

In the past few years, the electric two-wheelers are gaining popularity among customers, owing to environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Here we list the five electric scooters with over 125 km range you can buy in the Indian market.

Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Simple Energy launched the Simple One electric scooter in May 2023 for Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Powering the Simple One is a 5-kWh lithium-ion battery, offering an IDC-certified range of 212 km with 6% SOC left.

Second, on the list is the Ola S1 Pro, powered by a 4-kWh lithium-ion battery providing an ARAI-certified range of 181 km on a single charge. It uses an 8.5 kW motor which helps it achieve a claimed top speed of 115 kmph. The Ola S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.

The Hero Vida V1 is offered in two variants - Plus and Pro, priced at Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Powering the Hero Vida V1 Plus electric scooter is a 3.44 kWh li-ion battery providing a claimed range of 142 km per charge. The Pro variant uses a 3.94 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a claimed range of 165 km per charge.

The Ather 450X Gen 3 is equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery, offering a certified range of 146 km per charge, claims Ather Energy. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 90 kmph. Prices for the Ather 450X electric scooter start at Rs 1.46 lakh (including FAME-II and state subsidy).

​The Okinawa iPraise+ is powered by a 3.3kWh lithium-ion battery, allowing it to offer a claimed range of 137 km on a single charge. Powered by a 2.5kW BLDC motor, it has a claimed top speed of 56 kmph. Okinawa iPraise+ price in India starts at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
