Tata Curvv EV Series X: New variants, features with price explained
Tata Motors recently launched the new Tata Curvv EV Series X coupe SUV in the Indian market. This new range has been expanded with m new variants aimed at increasing the model’s appeal in the long-range electric SUV segment. The update seeks to balance affordability with capability, offering a larger battery pack and improved driving range without a significant price increase. Interested customers can book the EV online or visit their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.
The Curvv EV Series X is offered with a single 55 kWh battery pack paired with a single PMSM electric motor with 167 hp power and 215 nm torque. It has claimed a MIDC range of 502 km, using a 7.2kW AC charger, charging from 10 to 100 per cent takes 7.6 hours, while a DC fast charger can charge the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in 40 minutes. The new Tata Curvv EV series X is offered in three variants - Accomplished X priced at Rs 16.99 lakh, Empowered X priced at Rs 19.19 lakh and Empowered X Dark Edition priced at Rs 19.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Tata Curvv Series X Accomplished X
Features include 6 airbags, ESP, all-wheel disc brakes, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, tyre-pressure monitoring system, paddle shifters for battery regeneration, blind-spot view monitor, automatic defogger, cruise control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, rain-sensing wipers, LED DRLs, LED headlamps, connected tail-lamps, front fog lamps with cornering function, flush door handles, 17-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, a panoramic sunroof, electric ORVMs with auto fold function, a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, a 10.25-inch driver’s display with navigation, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers and 4 tweeters, a wireless smartphone charger, 45W Type-C USB chargers for front and rear passengers, rear AC vents, leatherette seats, a cooled glove box, Eco, City and Sport drive modes, rear sunshades and an air purifier.
Empowered X
Additional features include Level 2 ADAS, a 7.2kW AC wall box charger, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging support, a frunk, a powered tailgate with gesture control, LED projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an auto-dimming IRVM, powered and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a JBL sound system and 60:40 split rear seats with recline function.
