Skoda Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia Anniversary Editions launched: Prices, changes explained
Skoda is celebrating 25 years in the Indian market. To mark the occasion, the Czech automaker has launched exclusive Limited Editions of its popular models: the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kylaq. Production is capped at just 500 units for each model. The Kushaq and Slavia Limited Editions are available with both the 1.0 TSI (manual and automatic) and 1.5 TSI (DSG) powertrains. The Kylaq Limited Edition is powered by the 1.0 TSI engine, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox. Here’s a quick look at what’s new.
While the updates are primarily limited to cosmetics, the company is also offering a complimentary accessories package. The additions include a 360-degree camera, puddle lamps, underbody lighting, and 25th Anniversary badging. It will be included with all three models.
Buyers can choose the Kushaq special edition model between Deep Black and Tornado Red, but here’s the twist: the accessories are finished in a contrasting colour. So, a black Kushaq gets red accents, while a red Kushaq gets black ones. The visual updates include blacked-out treatment for fog lamp surrounds, trunk and lower door garnishes.
As for Slavia, the sedan gets the same celebratory treatment. Available in Deep Black or Tornado Red, it wears a front bumper spoiler, trunk garnish, and lower door garnishes finished in a contrasting colour. Like the Kushaq, it comes with the complimentary anniversary accessories kit and the special badging.
Skoda’s newest SUV, the Kylaq, hasn’t been left out of the party. The Limited Edition is offered on the Signature+ and Prestige manual trims and is available in a palette of seven colours. It gets the same add-ons as its siblings: the 360-degree camera, puddle lamps, underbody lights, and the anniversary badging.
The Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition is priced at Rs 16.39 lakh for the 1.0 TSI MT, Rs 17.49 lakh for the 1.0 TSI AT, and Rs 19.09 lakh for the 1.5 TSI DSG (all prices ex-showroom). The Slavia Anniversary Edition starts at Rs 15.63 lakh for the 1.0 TSI MT, goes up to Rs 16.73 lakh for the 1.0 TSI AT, and is priced at Rs 18.33 lakh for the 1.5 TSI DSG. The Kylaq Anniversary Edition, offered in the Signature+ and Prestige manual trims, is priced at Rs 11.25 lakh and Rs 12.89 lakh respectively.
