Range Rover SV Ranthambore edition launched at Rs 4.98 Cr: Just 12 units!
British luxury carmaker Range Rover has launched the Range Rover SV Ranthambore edition luxury SUV in the Indian market. This edition of the super luxury SUV will be limited to just 12 units and is priced at Rs 4.98 crores (ex-showroom). Interested customers can visit their nearest dealership to book the luxury vehicle, delivery details will be out soon. The company will also donate a portion of proceeds from each vehicle sale to Wildlife Conservation Trust of India, for strengthening tiger and wildlife conservation efforts.
Range Rover says that the special edition evokes the strong presence and character of the Tiger in its natural habitat and draws inspiration from the important role that Ranthambore National Park plays in the preservation of this rare species and is curated by SV Bespoke.
The Range Rover SV Ranthambore edition features a bespoke deep black body colour with a red shimmering effect and Range Rover says it is an ode to the majestic colours of the tiger. It is complemented by Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents reminiscent of the stripes of the tiger. The colour effect is extended to the roof and mirror caps, along with massive 23-inch forged style dark grey wheels with Corinthian Bronze inserts.
Moving inside, the luxury SUV gets SV Bespoke luxury and craftsmanship treatment with a combination of Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching, and the artistic embroidery on the seats is inspired by the dynamic motif of the stripes on the spine of the tiger. It also gets customised scatter cushions, noble chrome jewellery finishes, light linear wenge veneers and white ceramic dials.
Further, it also gets fully reclinable rear seats and a powered club table, deployable cupholders and a refrigerated compartment with SV etched glassware. Additionally, it also gets custom details such as bespoke paint, accents, wheels, embroidered seats and cushions and SV Bespoke branded tread plates with ‘Ranthambore Edition’ and ‘1 of 12’ designation.
In terms of features, the luxury SUV gets a 13.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, rear entertainment 11.4-inch touchscreens, a 35-speaker, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System with active noise cancellation, an 8-inch touchscreen controller that adjusts the rear seats, Cabin air purification, Digital LED' headlights with DRLs, 3D Surround Camera system and more.
Talking about the powertrain, the Range Rover Ranthambore edition is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbo petrol engine which puts out 400hp and 550Nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels.
