MG Majestor revealed: Five things to know before you book
MG Motor India finally revealed the MG Majestor SUV in the Indian market. The SUV was first unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo and is essentially a significantly updated version of the Gloster. While it retains the same core platform, the SUV gets several updates, including changes to design, features and off-road hardware, to set it apart. As a result, the Majestor will sit above the Gloster in the line-up, targeting buyers seeking a more upmarket and capable full-size SUV. In this article, let’s take a look at the top five things you need to know about the newly revealed MG Majestor.
MG Majestor: Engine and 4x4 details
Talking about the engine, it’s offered in a single 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel with 215 hp of power, which comes paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV gets a 4x4 system with an all-terrain management software which MG calls M-Hub, which offers up to 10 selectable terrain and drive modes. It also gets a crawl mode called the M-Crawl function, and three differential locks. It also has a maximum water-wading capacity of up to 810 mm for the SUV. The SUV offers up to 10 off-road modes, with automatic on-the-fly switching between 2H and 4H drive settings.

Colour options include monotone shades such as Metal Black, Pearl White, Concrete Grey and Metal Ash.
